For anyone looking to take their family to Phuket for a fun-filled getaway and searching for family-friendly accommodations with activities and a water park, Pamookkoo Resort is highly recommended!

For anyone looking for a fun family vacation in Phuket and looking for family accommodation with activities and a water park, Pamookkoo Resort is highly recommended! This Phuket resort, with its unique Mesopotamian style and thrilling pools, offers a truly memorable experience. Let’s dive in and explore!

Pamookkoo Resort is just a 5-minute walk from Kata Beach. As the 8th property of Kata Group Resorts, it’s designed in a Mesopotamian style that feels straight out of an Indiana Jones movie! From the decor to the staff uniforms, everything immerses you in a world of adventure.

The resort consists of five buildings surrounding a central pool area. This pool features three exciting slides, the tallest of which reaches the height of a five-story building, providing thrills for kids and adults alike. There’s also a separate pool area just for younger children.

Rooms here come in five types, with 508 rooms in total: Deluxe, Deluxe Pool, Deluxe Premier, Deluxe Premier Pool, and Family. All room types feature similar amenities, with the Deluxe Pool and Deluxe Premier Pool offering direct pool access. One of the best parts is that nearly 90% of the rooms have a pool view! All buildings have elevators, and the entire property is wheelchair-accessible, with designated wheelchair-friendly rooms.

We stayed in the Deluxe Premier Room, a 29-square-meter space that accommodates three people with a king bed and a smaller bed. It has a balcony overlooking the pool, and the bathroom features a shower with both standard and rain shower options, along with a bidet.

The room is fully equipped with amenities, including a TV, kettle, tea, coffee, free Wi-Fi, safe, and telephone. Connecting rooms are also available on request, with 25 sets of Deluxe Premier connecting rooms.

Dining Options, the resort has two dining areas:

Mookkoo Nest serves a breakfast buffet from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and dinner from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.

And Boottata Bar, open for all-day dining from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Additionally, there’s also a poolside bar, Treasure Island, serving drinks and snacks from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

For lunch, we enjoyed a set menu for two, featuring drinks (Mojito and Mango Smoothie), and dishes like shrimp cakes, spicy seafood spaghetti, chicken massaman curry, and spicy fish soup. Dessert was Banana Fritters with ice cream—a perfect end to the meal!

For additional Amenities, Pamookkoo Resort offers extensive facilities, including a fitness center with personal trainers, a shuttle service to Kata Beach, four conference rooms (accommodating 20–1,000 guests), a six-floor parking structure for 80 vehicles, and a large two-story Kids Club with futsal and ping-pong. Babysitting services are also available (extra charges apply).

This is an excellent choice for families, including those with young children or elderly members. Pamookkoo Resort offers fun for all ages and is one of the best family-oriented resorts in Phuket, complete with thrilling slides and Mesopotamian vibes!
